TBMHA teams wanting to participate in a tournament or schedule an exhibition game must submit a Travel Request.  Requests for either are submitted using the same form.

All Travel Requests for Exhibition Games should be submitted at least 7 business days in advance of your game to avoid late fees.  For Exhibition Games against an HNO opponent, only 1 team needs to submit a Travel Request. 

To accommodate Travel Requests during the TBMHA Regular Season game schedule, submissions need to be made before the following deadlines:

*applicable for teams that play TBMHA scheduled games.

*** Only submit Tournament Travel Requests if you are confident you are attending the tournament ***

After submitting your Travel Request, you will receive a confirmation email.  Please keep this email in case there is an issue processing your Travel Request.

Travel Requests submitted after the deadline that conflict with a Regular Season Game require a Game Swap Form to be approved. 

Once a Travel Request is approved by TBMHA, we will use the information to apply for an HNO Travel Permit.  HNO Travel Permit Fee is $16 + HST for tournament travel or exhibition games against non HNO teams.  There is no fee for exhibition games against an HNO opponent.  Travel Permits submitted on short notice are subject to a $50 late fee.  Click here for more info on HNO Travel Permits.

Once a Travel Permit is approved by HNO, the approved permit will be sent to the email address submitted with your Travel Request.  Approvals typically occur 7 to 10 days before your event. 

Please contact the TBM Hockey Office if: 

• You did not receive your confirmation email upon submitting your request
• You are planning to travel and have a conflict with a scheduled game
• You need to cancel a previously submitted request
• You need an approved HNO Travel Permit well in advance of your event as part of your Tournament Entry

Please be sure to use the applicable form when submitting.  A & AA teams have a different form than Thunder Bay Kings AAA teams.  Please use the form on behalf of the team making the request.
