Starting Wed Feb 17th Thunder Bay Minor Hockey Association will begin a Red Zone Program.

There will be no Leagues-Scheduled Games or Exhibition Games during Red Zone Programming.  Teams will be allowed to resume individual skill training up to a maximum of 10 participants at one time.  Only players that are officially rostered through Hockey Canada will be allowed to train with their team.  No affiliated players, players from older divisions or players from other teams within the same cohort will be allowed to mix.

During Red Level Programming, the following guidelines MUST be adhered to while on the ice:

  • Maximum participant group size is 10 plus organizational staff such as coaches, managers and trainers
  • Team sports and tactics must not be practiced or played. Only training is allowed. No games or scrimmages are allowed
  • Activities that are likely to result in individuals coming within 2 metres of each other are not permitted
  • No spectators are permitted. Each participant under 18 years old may be accompanied by one parent or guardian for supervision
  • No contact permitted for team or individual sports

Red Zone Programming will be in place until at least Sat Mar 6 and will be subject to ice availability and public health restrictions.

At this time, ice availability is limited.  Teams have ice that was assigned earlier in the season.  Ice typically allocated for games will be made available on the TBMHA website at http://www.tbmha.com/trainingice.
