Important Notes for Evaluation Skate Supervision

1.  Each club is responsible for providing a minimum of 4 workers at the scheduled session.  One of the 4 must monitor the dressing room area for any issues,  Also one coach from each organization running the skate must remain on the ice during the scrimage session.

2.  Do not send any workers that wish to evaluate during the skate session.

3.  The following equipment is required for BOTH benches:

  •      First Aid Kit
  •      Water Bottles
  •      Pucks

Please coordinate these items in advance with other scheduled clubs

4.  Please have workers report to the Draft Chair/Rink Supervisor 10 minutes prior to the first skate session.

5.  Two workers supervise the two benches during the skates.

6.  One worker is assigned to facilitate on-ice drills and monitor scrimmage. Skates, helmet, gloves, stick, & whistle are needed.

7.  One worker is responsible for patrolling the dressing rooms, clean-up, gopher, etc.

8.  Bench workers need to monitor each goalie's ice time. Each goalie is on at least twice per session, once at each end. Divide time equally among all goalies

9. Including resurfacing, 1st & 4th Sessions are 60 minutes, 2nd & 4th Sessions are 50 minutes.  Start with warm-up & skating drills (to be provided).   This should take ten minutes at most. Scrimmage to follow for the remainder of the session.
